The Federal Court of San Francisco has accepted a lawsuit against Facebook for surveillance of Instagram users, – reports Bloomberg.
The surveillance was carried out through the front cameras of the iPhone, when the owner did not use the gadget. In turn, the company said that the camera triggering is a system error in the application and that this error has already been fixed.
Earlier it was reported that the U.S. government was called to limit the influence of the social network and Mark Zuckerberg’s power. It is proposed to divide Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp into independent companies.
