Facebook has made unified messaging for Messenger and Instagram

Users of Messenger and Instagram applications will be able to send messages to each other without having one of these programs. This was announced by the employees of the company Facebook in their blog.

Thus, all the necessary functions will appear in both applications and users will not need to download one of them to respond to an incoming message.

In addition, the programs will be able to block the whole correspondence, rather than individual users, as well as select a folder where new messages will come.

“We connect Messenger to Instagram because more than 1 billion people already use the application. We want to enable better messaging no matter which application is being used,” the message said.
