Google has released an update to the Google Calendar mobile app

Google has released an update to the Google Calendar mobile app for Android and iOS. The update brings a long-requested feature – integration with another company service, Google Tasks (Google Tasks). The Google Calendar mobile app now lets you create new and view existing tasks.

The mobile application of the Calendar has so far been deprived of such an obvious feature, despite the fact that the web version of the Calendar has been able to do this for a long time and to get to these tasks in the mobile environment had to open a separate application Google Tasks. With the installation of updates, tasks become a built-in part of the mobile Calendar.

Google has gradually begun to distribute updates to Google Calendar. It may take a couple of weeks for all its users.
