Google is sending the Pixel 2 smartphone to retire. The company stops updating the Android version, the three-year support of the smartphone ends. Google released the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones in 2017. They will soon receive their latest Android 11 update. The Google Pixel 2 Series features a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of memory and 128GB of disk space. Pixel 2 was manufactured by HTC, and Pixel 2 XL was manufactured by LG. Pixel 2 uses a 5-inch AMOLED screen; Pixel 2 XL uses an OLED screen with a resolution of 2K.

Google has officially announced that it will carry out the last update of the Pixel 2 series system in December this year; after that, the phone will not receive security updates and Android updates. Although the mobile phone seems to have been “abandoned” after the loss of official support, the mobile phone, which has been in production for three years, can still enjoy the latest version of Android 11. This mode can also be considered a “favorite” in the mobile phone industry.
