Google will allow its employees to work from home at least until summer 2021.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the decision will affect about 200 thousand employees, including those who work for the parent company Google Alphabet Inc, reports gazeta.ru.

It is noted that if this happens, the corporation will be the first major IT giant to extend remote work for such a period.

Silicon Valley companies transferred their employees to work from home back in March, when the coronavirus just began to spread around the world.
