What you will need

To charge your phone from batteries, you will need

    one AA battery, it is important that it does not exceed 5.5V;

    voltage regulator (board);

    two ordinary wires;

    phone and charging cable to it.

How to charge the phone from batteries – instructions

In order to charge the phone, simply connecting it to the batteries will not work.

The fact is that a modern smartphone is charged only from a voltage of 5V and a current of 100 mA. However, an ordinary AA finger battery produces only 1.5V. Therefore, charging the phone is simply impossible, even if you can somehow connect the battery to the charger.

However, if you connect the battery to the stabilizer (board), it will automatically increase the voltage to 5V. Therefore, the phone will start charging, although it will not last long.

So first you need to prepare the stabilizer. Each board has a USB input, LED, plus and minus connectors.

You need to solder two wires to the + and – connectors (for example, red wire to the plus, blue wire to the minus).

The electrician notes that this option is suitable only for those who know how to solder and have a special machine. Just taping the wires to the circuit with tape or electrical tape will not work. For the stabilizer to work, you need a tight contact of wires to the plus and minus connectors.

    – Only soldering is needed here. Who are not good at soldering should not use this method of charging. It is dangerous. Or you can contact a master who will professionally and safely solder the wires to the board, – the electrician notes.

When the mechanism is ready, you can connect the battery.

    The board will start working as soon as you connect the battery to the wires.

    Bring the wire connected to the plus connector (on the board) to the + mark on the battery. Do the same with the wire connected to the minus.

    If the LED on the board lights up, you have connected everything correctly.

    Secure the wires on the battery with electrical tape.

    Connect the charging cable to the USB input on the board.

    Connect the phone to the charger.

If you have done everything correctly, the phone will start charging.
