In Japan, panels with artificial intelligence have been installed for tourists

East Japan Railway Co. has installed electronic panels based on artificial intelligence at several stations. As Ukrinform reports, Kyodo News reports. A total of 30 panels have been installed at six stations in Tokyo and Chiba Prefecture. The test period will last until January next year. The electronic panels themselves will help tourists with various questions, as well as be able to measure their temperature.

The artificial intelligence panel responds to finger movements and voice commands. People don’t even have to touch the display during a coronavirus pandemic. The panel is currently available in four languages - Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean. As Ukrinform reported, the man, who lost his sight about 30 years ago, ran a 5-kilometer run in New York’s Central Park thanks to Google’s artificial intelligence, which pointed in the direction through headphones connected to a smartphone.
