Less than two weeks remain before the official NVIDIA press conference, which is scheduled for January 12. The flagship mobile video card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Mobile should be presented on it. It has already appeared in the Geekbench benchmark database, and the ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo (GX551QS) laptop has acted as a test bench. Thanks to this, we received confirmation of the characteristics of this video card, as well as approximate information about performance.
The flagship graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 is based on a full-fledged GA104 graphics processor, which runs at a clock speed of 1.54 GHz (with overclocking to 1.7 GHz), and includes 6144 CUDA cores. GDDR6 video memory is 16 GB and the memory bus is 256 bits wide.
The Max-Q version will consume up to 90W, and the Max-P – up to 150W. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Mobile was able to score 139181 points in the OpenCL benchmark, which is more than in NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (which scored 132917 points) and GeForce RTX 2080 Ti (which scored 137217 points). At the same time, the mobile version of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 video card lags far behind – the desktop video card scores 180,000 points.
