LG unveils 4K UltraGear 27GN950 monitor with 144Hz, 1ms response time
LG Electronics has supplemented its line of UltraGear game monitors with 27GN950 model, whose formal debut took place at the January CES 2020 exhibition. The device is based on a Nano IPS matrix with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and, as emphasized by the vendor, is the first 4K IPS display with a response time of 1ms (gray to gray).
Other advantages of LG UltraGear 27GN950 include 98% coverage of DCI-P3 color palette, 144 Hz refresh rate (up to 160 Hz at overclocking), 10-bit color depth and support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology. The monitor is also VESA DisplayHDR 600 and Nvidia G-Sync Compatible.
HDMI 2.0 (x2) video output and DisplayPort 1.4, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB 3.2 splitter for two ports are available on the back. Not without LED RGB backlighting, which is now equipped with most gaming products. With the stand you can adjust the height, rotation and tilt of the display.
The LG UltraGear 27GN950 will be available in European retail for an approximate price of €929.
