Microsoft has announced the availability of a new version of Windows 10 20H2 for commercial users to begin learning and testing functionality before the operating system becomes available to all users. In the “commercial” category, Microsoft includes users of systems with operating system versions other than the “Home” version that are managed by a specialist administrator and some others. Simply put, Microsoft corporate clients can start testing Windows 10 20H2 before the final release.
Microsoft previously reported that upgrading to Windows 10 20H2 will be available for devices that run on Windows 10 2004 (May update) as part of the “service pack” principle. The new features are activated using the “activation key”. A similar scheme was used last year to upgrade from Windows 10 version 1903 to 1909.
Commercial users can access Windows 10 20H through the Insider Program through standard tools such as Windows Update, Windows Server Update Services and Azure Marketplace, or download a disk image (ISO files). The ISO files will be available as soon as possible.
Windows 10 20H2 will be the second major functional OS update in 2020. One of the most notable innovations for ordinary users will be a redesigned Start menu.
