New Rocket Lake processors from Intel can only be released in 2021
The closer the end of the year comes, the more rumors are circulating online about what awaits us next year. Thus, judging by the latest data, the new Rocket Lake processors from Intel can be released only in 2021.
What’s interesting is that although Rocket Lake will be based on the Willow Cove architecture, which has also become the basis for future mobile chips Tiger Lake, Intel still decided not to call Rocket Lake architecture by its real name, choosing instead the name Cypress Cove. At least that’s what Internet insiders are reporting.
As for the date of release of new processors Rocket Lake, it can be appointed as early as the beginning of 2021. By the way, in this case, the fresh solution from Intel will have to compete with the desktop Ryzen 4000 on Zen 3 architecture.
