Nvidia and AMD released new GPUs in the second quarter

Recently the Network has been flooded with various leaks about new AMD and Nvidia 3D accelerators. The first one is expected to release the so-called “big Navi” – a video card on RDNA architecture that can compete with top GeForce RTX. At this time, Jensen Huang’s team is expected to introduce Ampere 7nm graphics cores to the world, which will serve as the basis for GeForce RTX 3000 series cards.

In order to find out the final release date of the above devices, our colleagues from VideoCardz web edition decided to contact sources among AIB-partners of Nvidia and AMD. They said that both GPU developers will release new products in the second quarter of this year. In particular, AMD is to present “big Navi” at Computex 2020 (June 2-6, Taipei).

If we talk about Nvidia, it has always been distinguished by the ability to keep the preparation of new graphics cores in secret. The most likely place to announce the 7nm Ampere GPU is the GTC 2020 conference, which will be held from March 23 to 26 in San Jose. It is expected to include a presentation of accelerators for the segment of resource-intensive computing, and a month or two later will debut new GPUs for gaming graphics cards.
