Samsung’s next-generation Galaxy S flagship smartphone lineup is about six months away, but rumors of the device have already begun to emerge. According to new reports, the successors to the Galaxy S20 series will receive significantly more capacious batteries. GalaxyClub has published information about gadgets with model number SM-G996. It is assumed that this is the successor to the current Galaxy S20 +. The source states that the smartphone will be equipped with a 4800 mAh battery with a nominal capacity of 4660 mAh.

For comparison, the Galaxy S20 + has a 4500 mAh battery with a nominal capacity of 4370 mAh. Thus, the battery of the new model will be about 7% larger. Probably, in other smartphones of the series, the autonomy will also improve. According to the latest rumors, the future flagships of Samsung will also receive a faster charge of 65 watts, but the on-screen camera should not wait for the next generation. Samsung Galaxy S21 / S30 is expected to be released in February-March next year.
