Sony introduced the design of the PlayStation 5. Sales will begin later this year

Late in the evening on June 11 Sony held a long-awaited presentation of PlayStation 5, which showed the final design of the next generation of the console and the starting line of games for it.

So, the new PlayStation 5 looks stylish and futuristic. It’s completely different from any of its predecessors, or devkits, or what the artists drew based on leaks and drawings. Similar to the recently introduced DualSense gamepad, the console uses a two-color scheme with main white. Other designs are likely to be available in the future, but there are no details yet.

Besides usual PS5, there will also be a version of PS5 Digital Edition without a disk drive.

Together with PlayStation 5 debuted a range of accessories for the console, which, in addition to the already familiar gamepad DualSense, includes new headphones, remote, dual camera and charger. All units are made in the same style, with a predominant white color.

From the new Xbox Series X, which we already know a lot about, PlayStation 5 looks a little more than completely different, although there are definitely some similarities with the Xbox 360 in terms of form.

Probably many people will like this design, and many people will find it ridiculous – in fact, in social networks are already joking about the design of PlayStation 5, comparing the new console with routers, cruisers, cars and other things, as well as exercise in the photo toads, playing with “collars” in different ways. Here are some funny jokes about the design of the new PS5:
