Thanko social networking monitor introduced for $100
Japanese gadget manufacturer Thanko has brought to market a small-sized display designed for social platforms. According to the online publication Tom’s Hardware, the device Thanko TL Portrait Display should be used as an auxiliary monitor for viewing news feeds or chats in messengers. TL stands for timeline which literally means news feed.

The 7.9-inch monitor has a resolution of 400 x 1,280p. Nothing is reported about the type of matrix. An HDMI port is used to connect to the PC. The monitor weighs 174 grams. Compatibility with the Windows software platform is claimed. The monitor can be used horizontally and vertically.
