There have been big changes in Instagram. Two new tabs have appeared on the home page. The team of the popular social network Instagram, owned by Facebook, announced a “major update” of the interface. The main page was viewed in the appendix, where two new tabs appeared – Shop and Reels.
With the advent of new tabs, other interface elements have changed their location a bit. Reels is a section with short videos in the style of TikTok. The service was launched a couple of months ago internationally and is now becoming a more organic part of Instagram. In the Shop section, users will be able to see personal recommendations, special videos, new collections, and so on. The section is also positioned as an easy way to get in touch with brands and manufacturers.
