In 2020, the best electric cars can drive about 600 kilometers on a single charge. This means that theoretical such “electric trains” are capable of reaching, for example, from Kiev to Odessa without recharging. True, while such record holders can be counted on the fingers of one hand (well, a maximum of two).

In the next few years, their ranks should significantly replenish. However, many of them did not fall into our rating, since it is not yet clear in what form they will reach the consumer. For example, we did not take into account the sensational electric pickup Tesla Cybertruck. Since in fact the project is at the concept stage. And it is still unknown when it will go into mass production.



In the battle for a place in the ranking, only those models that either are already being sold, or their sales will start before the end of 2020, participated. Another prerequisite for beginners is the availability of official information about the technical specifications. Gossip and rumors were not taken into account.

Moreover, the characteristics should indicate the power reserve according to WLTP – a single standard that is used by all world manufacturers today. Models that did not pass the tests according to this standard were not considered when preparing the rating.
