Xiaomi’s new flagship was spotted at Geekbench

Xiaomi plans to unveil a new flagship smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset soon, which has now appeared in the Geekbench benchmark database (most likely the Xiaomi Mi 11). In addition to the chipset, the appearance of the smartphone in Geekbench revealed some other features of the model. From Geekbench we learned that the model scored 1105 points in the single-core test and 3512 points in the multi-core test. It will be recalled that the new flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S21 +, which is responsible for the flagship Exynos 2100 chipset, recently appeared in the benchmark, and its results were lower than the Xiaomi smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset. We also learned that the model will have at least one version with 6 GB of RAM.

The presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset became known due to the fact that the list of features includes an Adreno 660 graphics adapter (recall that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ has Adreno 550 installed). Unfortunately, the information from the benchmark does not reveal any more characteristics. This is more the first evidence of what the new flagship Xiaomi will be able to offer in terms of performance than a complete drain of performance. Most likely, it is Xiaomi Mi 11, because it is worth mentioning the beginning of 2020, when the current flagship Xiaomi Mi 10 became one of the first smartphones on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. The model is expected to be announced in January 2021, right after Samsung Galaxy S21.
